Peter

Our Founder and Managing Director, Peter Guglietta brings more than 30 years of broad U.S. domestic and international life insurance experience to PAG Consulting.  After holding a variety of roles over 13 years within the U.S. domestic individual and corporate owned life insurance space, Peter entered the international portion of his unique career in 2005.​​

For the last 20 years, Peter and his team have been focused exclusively on life insurance planning for high and ultra-high net worth non-U.S. families and businesses.  In addition to creating and presenting marketing and training content for global sales teams and professional advisors, Peter has been responsible for cross-border wealth transfer, business succession and executive benefit plan design, including product, structuring and funding strategies, for HNW and UHNW Global Citizen clients residing in over 70 countries. ​​

In addition to decades of hands-on experience, Peter's credentials include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance (BSBA) from Northeastern University

  • Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Suffolk University

  • Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA) from Suffolk University. 

  • Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College

  • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College

  • Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from the Life Office Management Association 

  • Active life, accident and health insurance licenses in multiple U.S. states

  • FINRA Series 6, 63 and 26 registrations

About Our Clients

Cross-border and international life insurance planning is complicated.  While incorporating a life insurance based solution in one's overall personal and business planning can provide many benefits, there are also many potential risks and challenges that must be navigated by a specifically trained expert advisor.  That's why we have a saying at PAG Consulting: "We would much rather work with an advisor who doesn't know what they don't know (but wants to) than one who doesn't care what they don't know."

Our clients primarily include Professional Advisors who service HNW and UHNW clients who have existing life insurance or for whom a new life insurance based planning solution may be appropriate.  These Professional Advisors include, but are not limited to:​

Lastly, while we generally engage with the Professional Advisor team of Global Citizen clients, PAG Consulting also offers fee-only based consultation services directly to Global Citizen clients upon request.
